I bought one from your company (I think) about 15 years ago. Had my name written in the handle which made me “feel special “! Ha. Left it along with other tools in my small tool bag on the step engine. We made a call and I left them there. When I remembered, the tool bag had fallen off the engine On the way to the call. Ugh. But then seems a lot sturdier. Can’t wait to use it. Thanks

Great quality. I had purchased a similar tool from a different manufacturer about a year ago and noticed the tool was not holding up after only a handful of uses and took a lot of effort to toggle the latch. As soon as I opened the packaging for Jobtown Tools’ JV model I was impressed by the solid construction and overall durability. Works great with minimal resistance and the “V” design minimizes slipping while operating. Would highly recommend for anyone that works in an urban department and encounters mortise locks regularly to carry in your personal bag. Don’t waste your money “trying to save a couple bucks” on competitors’ tools as they won’t hold up.

Works as advertised. The only drawback is that it's fairly thick, so you have to be able to wedge open the doors pretty far before you can use it.

It doesn’t really work. I watched the video and he made too many terms. That’s not how the Lock works. It doesn’t have enough strength to turn the knob.
